🕊️ Prayer for the Passing of the Pope
Offer a heartfelt prayer for the Pope who has passed away. May his soul rest in God’s eternal peace and glory.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts both heavy and grateful, mourning the passing of Your faithful servant, the Pope. Thank You for the life, leadership, and spiritual guidance he offered to the Church and the world. Through his words and actions, he reminded us of Your mercy, love, and call to holiness.
Lord, we entrust his soul into Your loving hands. Welcome him into Your eternal kingdom where pain and suffering are no more, and grant him the joy of everlasting life in Your presence.
May he now rest from his earthly labors and rejoice with the saints and angels. May his faithful witness continue to inspire us, and may we carry forward his legacy of love, compassion, and truth.
Comfort those who mourn his loss—believers around the world, leaders of the Church, and especially those who knew him personally. Give them peace in the promise of resurrection and eternal life.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
