📖 Bible Verse of the Day
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5–6
💡 Devotional
Child of God, trust is not passive. It’s not merely feeling okay with whatever happens. Trust is an active laying down of our right to control. It is confessing with trembling lips, “God, I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know You.” Our understanding is a dim mirror compared to His infinite wisdom. When we lean on our thoughts, we often collapse under fear. But when we lean into Him, we rise. Every step submitted to Him becomes holy ground. Trusting God doesn’t mean the path will be smooth—but it means it will be His. And His way, though sometimes winding, always leads to peace.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, I confess my desire to understand everything before I surrender. But today, I lay down my fears, my reasoning, and my need for control. I choose trust. Redirect my steps. Guard my heart. Lead me in the way everlasting.
🧠 Reflection Questions
- Where am I relying more on logic than on faith?
- What would full surrender to God look like for me today?
- How have I seen God “make my path straight” in the past?
